Harry is hit in the.......... WHAT?
Harry Styles got clocked in the balls with a shoe, and it’s been
pretty big news. Reason one: many One Direction fans have a vested and almost
unhealthy interest in Harry Styles’ balls. Reason two: It’s not even the first
time Harry Styles has been clocked in the balls with a shoe. It’s not even the
first time, people. And reason three: it was pretty funny.
So anyway and miraculously, Black Cat has actually found the One
Direction fan who threw the aforementioned shoes at the aforementioned balls,
and they have spoken to her. She seems: pretty sad about clocking Harry Styles
in the balls with a shoe.
“I just wanted him to touch something belonging to me,” she said. “I didn’t mean to hit him where I
hit him. I’m really embarrassed.” But what about the shoes, Jade? What about the
shoes? “I got them both back,” she said. So, in a way, her plan worked. You can
relive the moment Harry Styles got clocked in the balls by a shoe above.

The ‘Jedward of birds’ descends on Limerick
BIRDWATCH Limerick are waxing lyrical about the rare arrival of the
Scandinavian waxwing into the county.
Maura Turner, branch secretary, said they have received many reports of
sightings of an unusual bird in recent weeks.
“This exotic looking bird is a waxwing and is easily identifiable by a crest
on the head resembling a Jedward hairstyle and similar colouring.
“They have a pinkish-brown head with a long crest and a black coloured bandit
mask around the eyes and throat.
“Their body is a pink-buff colour but the wing tips are bright yellow with
red waxy tips - hence their name. They are a bit smaller than a starling with a
similar flight pattern,” explained Maura.
The waxwing breeds in Scandinavia and when there are good breeding conditions
the numbers are boosted. However, when this is combined with poor berry crops in
their native lands larger numbers than usual flock to the UK and some arrive,
usually on the east coast of Ireland.
But this time they have travelled further - to the Mid-West. A flock of 50
was seen in Corbally,
"This year’s crop of berries was very poor, even in the UK, hence we have an
‘irruption’ of waxwings appearing in gardens, parks and in some rural areas in
Limerick,” said Maura.
Birdwatch member, Tom Tarpey even found an article in the Limerick Leader
from 1947 entitled, A rare bird - it came from Arctic regions, the story of the
waxwing.Maura says the birds are fond of apples and pears so if you cut up fruit
and place it up high, to reduce the risk from predators, you may be lucky enough
to attract some to your garden.
“While there are still berries around which are attracting the waxwings,
these are diminishing rapidly. We are asking people to keep feeding these and
other birds in general throughout the winter,” said Maura.
She says the last major influx occurred in February 2005 and advises bird
watchers to keep their eyes peeled and they might be lucky enough to see this
rare visitor to our shores.
Please report any sightings to the Limerick Birdwatch Facebook
site.

Name your price, Simon tells Cheryl as he begs her to save the X
Factor
X FACTOR boss Simon Cowell has told Cheryl Cole to name her price and save
the X Factor. Cowell is determined to bring the Girls Aloud singer back to the TV3
programme and axe controversial judge Tulisa.
Cheryl (29) flew to Los Angeles yesterday and is understood to have met with Cowell for
talks. The move comes following months of silence between the pair
after they fell out last year after Cowell dumped the Geordie singer from the US
X Factor.
Although the pair have remained in touch, they are
nowhere near as close as they once were.
Cowell is now desperate to get Cole back on to the UK X Factor as ratings have
plummeted.
Despite brushing off his attempts at a UK comeback,
Cheryl has finally succumbed after Cowell reportedly told the Geordie singer to
"name your price".
Cheryl had secret talks with the record company
boss in his LA home as he frantically tried to reinstate her for the flagging UK
version of the hit talent show.
And it seems that under-fire
British singer Tulisa Contostavlos could be making way on the X Factor panel for
Cheryl's return. Cowell is said to be less than impressed with the
emergence of a several unsuitable boyfriends and feels Tulisa's
controversial publicity has been negative for the show.
Cheryl and Simon (53) famously fell out last year after he axed her from the US X Factor
just weeks into filming for the first series.
To add insult to injury, Cheryl -- who recently reunited with her Girls Aloud bandmates -- was
replaced by former Pussycat Doll Nicole Scherzinger.
While Cheryl said she would never go back, she briefly returned this year to help Gary Barlow
choose his acts at the Judges Homes stage of the competition.
It now seems that she could be the answer to Simon's prayers as he attempts to put
an end to the plummeting viewing figures for the show.
One Saturday night live show this series saw ratings fall to just 7.6 million.
This was a stark contrast to the 19.4 million fans that tuned in to watch
Cheryl and Simon in the 2010 final.
A source close to Simon last night said: "He's desperate to get Cheryl back on X Factor UK because it's lost
its way. The money on the table would be a fortune -- at least double what she got last time. She could have what she wanted."
Simon's spokesman Max Clifford also admitted that Simon still holds a soft spot for Cheryl despite
their public rift. Clifford said that he "thinks a lot of Cheryl", sparking rumours about her comeback.
Cowell cannot make a return to the show himself because of his commitment to the US X Factor, but sees Cheryl as the
next best thing, according to sources.

"iCarly" fans, dab those tears. A week after the hit Nickelodeon show wrapped its run, the network has announced the series pickup of "iCarly"/"Victorious" offshoot "Sam & Cat."
T he spinoff comedy, which was given a 20-episode order, features Jennette McCurdy ("iCarly's" Sam Puckett) and Ariana Grande ("Victorious'" Cat Valentine). The two will reprise their roles from their respective shows -- only in this universe, they'll pair up as roommates and start their own babysitting business.
The series, which had been given a pilot order in August, is yet another Nickelodeon yarn from Dan Schneider, the man behind "iCarly," "Victorious," "Drake & Josh," etc.
“Jennette and Ariana are adored by our audience, and it’s great to unite these talented actresses in this hilarious new comedy from Dan Schneider," said Russell Hicks, president of content development and production at Nickelodeon, in a statement. “This show promises to deliver on what our audience loves most about these two favorite characters -- laugh-out-loud humor and nonstop adventure, and is sure to be a compelling new chapter for our new comedic duo.”
The news comes after Nov. 23's "iCarly" series finale, which drew 6.4 million total viewers. "Victorious" is set to end its three-season run next year.
Production on "Sam & Cat" will begin in January in Los Angeles, with a roll-out expected sometime in 2013.

Simon Cowell Denies Christopher Maloney Would Be 'Instantly Dropped' If He Won
The X Factor
Simon Cowell has insisted that whoever wins The X Factor UK will be given the
full support of record label giants Sony.
His Twitter statement comes following reports that Christopher Maloney would be instantly "dumped" if he won the show.
A source had told the Daily Star Sunday: "Simon
doesn’t think [Maloney] fits in with Syco’s current image. He’s found a loophole
in the contract which means he can dump Chris within weeks, even if he wins.
They’ll shift him to an in-house sister label, possibly Epic, and then drop him
for good after 12 months.
"Simon has his eye on the more bankable
acts – James Arthur and Jahmene Douglas. Syco has never signed three acts from a
series before, so losing Chris quickly is the best
option."
However, writing on his Twitter page this morning, Cowell
wrote: "On the uk show I do have a favourite but its your vote that determines
the winner. Whoever wins will get the backing of Sony. (sic)
"I do think the us and uk finals are going to be close and that makes it more
exciting. Especially if a group wins the us show!"
It is rumoured that his favourite UK act is James Arthur.

Movie Review : The Karate Kid (original)
The Karate Kid (the original movie people) , is the original movie which Jaden Smith did a cover of! But this film is pretty boring until the hilarious moments of training about half way into the film.
Caution: Contains bad language so don't show to younger audiences!
